Meeting at Auburn University

Hey QueaseEASE fans (and it looks like we are getting some)! We just had a great meeting with the MBA students at Auburn University. Sharon Oswald, Privett Professor and Head of the School of Management selected Soothing Scents as a "case study" for her MBA class. We had three great teams compete to see who could come up with the best 12 month marketing plan. All three teams were awesome- with radically different ideas and marketing approaches.

Our experience at Auburn was really awesome! Being a University of Alabama graduate-that says a lot! We thank each of the students for their hard work and creativity and really thank Dr. Sharon Oswald for the opportunity!

Hey folks- thanks for the many comments we are now receiving. We appreciate all feedback- both positive AND negative! It's the only way we can be sure we are on the right track and certainly the best way to correct problems when we screw up!

I am glad so many of you are finding that QueaseEASE helps. Henry Harris- I especially appreciate your informative advice on using QueaseEASE. The most difficult part of our business is properly educating people on how to USE QueaseEASE so it can benefit them. I have found that of the few people that claim QueaseEASE does not provide immediate relief- they have not used it properly. Like the truck driver that I gave a sample to before he went out deep sea fishing in the gulf- I asked him how it worked when I saw him the week after his trip. He said it really didn't. When reviewing his experience, I found he had taken two big "sniffs" on the dock before he got in the boat and then did not use QueaseEASE again- even when he started to get sick! I failed to properly explain that you start smelling QueaseEASE as soon as you start to feel bad- and KEEP using it until you feel better. That's the best part about QueaseEASE- you can use it as often as you want- no side effects and no restrictions on use. Like the customer said that used it on a cruise- "there's just absolutely NO RISK to trying it"!.

Soothing Scents Producing First Product Information Video

Soothing Scents proudly announces our new QueaseEASE information video is well into production and should be available for preview soon. We have received a tremendous amount of great consumer testimonials from folks that have used QueaseEASE for various types of nausea and we have also received many questions as to 'what' QueaseEASE is and "how" it works. We decided to present product endorsements AND technical explanations as to how QueaseEASE works in a video format.

We will use this video in a variety of venues including point-of-purchase displays at Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shops, West Marine and Boaters World, in gift shops on board cruise ships from Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Carnival, and as TV "infomercials" running in local markets in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

We will also make our videos available to visitors to our website. One of the challenges we face as a company is properly educating consumers on the features and benefits of aromatic inhalers. QueaseEASE is such a great product- easy to use, safe, instantly effective. But it doesn't sell itself- consumers need to learn HOW it works, WHY it works, and WHEN it works. We want to offer as much information as possible so consumers can make educated choices when selecting a product to help relieve their nausea symptoms.

Soothing Scents introduces QueaseEASE at the Mayo Clinic

Our company is wrapping up a very eventful week! Our Company founder and product inventor, Wendy Nichols, attended a conference at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota last week to present QueaseEASE to the many attendees and staff from the Clinic. The all-natural nausea relief product was a HUGE hit with the medical personnel from other facilities as well as the managers of the Mayo's surgery department.

We also wrapped our third video shoot for an upcoming infomercial presentation that we will be making available to several cruise lines and for use in our Wal-Mart test market stores. This was a lot of fun- with VERY enthusiastic folks VOLUNTEERING to present their testimonials of how amazing QueaseEASE works for seasickness, morning sickness, motion sickness, and chemotherapy. We ended up shooting over 30 testimonials! Thanks to EVERYONE for all the wonderful input!!!

We are looking forward to a very busy November- our Wal-Mart test market will be expanding to many new stores in the next month as will our availability on more cruise ships! Princess Cruises will be offering QueaseEASE in their gift shops on several of their ships. This is GREAT news for passengers vacationing in the coming months that experience sea sickness. QueaseEASE will provide instant, no-side effect relief for motion sickness!

Great Fun at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Hey everyone! We just wrapped up five days at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Soothing Scents was invited to display QueaseEASE in the retail booth of Half Hitch Stores from the Florida Panhandle. We had a blast! Ron and Bill from Half Hitch were great company and we all sold a ton of QueaseEASE!

I was standing in front of our display on Sunday when a couple of journalists stopped by to interview me about QueaseEASE. They were writing a little blurb on cool new products for the boating industry and wanted to ask a few questions. While we were talking a customer walked up and listened to us and then purchased a couple of QueaseEASE on the spot! I couldn't have planned that if I tried! He was excited about the new product and told the writers it was the best thing he found at the entire show!

Gary and Iris from our Sales Office will be in Orlando this week at the DEMA show. That's a dive industry retailer convention. It's our first big foray into the Dive market. We are so excited about it. We have received a dozen testimonials from divers who just LOVE the product!

Also- great news on our test market at Wal-Mart Stores in Macon, Georgia! We are selling very well so far with no advertising or marketing at all! We hope to develop our Point of Sale video to help educate potential consumers on the great features and benefits of QueaseEASE.

QueaseEASE is also now on Princess Cruise Lines as well as Norwegian Cruise Lines and Carnival Cruise Lines. Look for QueaseEASE in the gift shop on many of these ships!

Hello Again!

It's been awhile since my last post. Lots going on at Soothing Scents. QueaseEASE is now in the market place and doing well. So many great testimonials from folks that have used the product with success! That's the best thing about our new business- the fact that we are making a product that actually helps people...

We are starting to get some press as well! Take a look at this:http://www.star-telegram.com/travel/story/265647.html. This is a great article about how QueaseEASE can help you when traveling on airplanes. I use it all the time for that- not so much for motion sickness (I rarely get queasy from an airplane ride)- more often to mask some of the unpleasant aromas I smell in the cabin.

You can also find QueaseEASE in some cool places now as well. Look for it in many boating and dive stores in Florida and along the East Coast. You can also find it on several Norwegian Cruise Line ships as well as some from Carnival and Princess, too. It is a GREAT little item to have on board. My wife and I took a cruise a few years ago (before we developed QueaseEASE) and she sure wishes she could have had it on that boat! I ended up in the gift shop buying some of everything they had for sea sickness. She hated the medications that made her drowsy- too much good fun to have on those cruise liners! She didn't want to sleep through her vacation!

We just went into Wal-Mart in a test market. If you are in the Macon, Georgia area make sure you look for QueaseEASE in your local Supercenter. Wal-Mart is really excited about QueaseEASE as they understand the value of pure and natural drug-free alternative products for their customers!
